2017 선전 도시건축 바이-시티 비엔날레에서 열린 전시회에서 혼종성과 공존 섹션은 도시의 분석과 조사, 실험, 연관 전시, 미래 상상에 중점을 두고 있다.

전시에서 세계적인 건축가그룹 MVRDV와 리서치 싱크 탱크인 더와이팩토리는 미래 도시를 탐험하기 위해 공동으로 개발한 미래 도시의 확장 - 도시를 변화시킬 수 있는 제품과 자아의 집, 수직 마을의 개념을 제안한다. 더 넥스트 후통이란 개념으로 수십 년간 후통의 발전에 대한 MVRDV의 연구는 미래를 모델링하기 위한 더 좋은 방법을 보여준다.
