A report has come out saying that just one sugary can of soda can increase your risk of developing type 2 diabetes by 22 percent.
The Imperial College of London study warned that each 336ml sugary soft drink increases the risk of diabetes by more than a fifth.
The findings are similar to research done in the U.S. which concluded that sugary drinks were linked to higher obesity levels and contributed to more than 310 million people worldwide with the disease.
