Group XG (XG) expressed its strong response to the deepfake production.

"We have confirmed the production and distribution of deepfake productions targeting our artists," XGALX said today (4th), adding, "We will take strong legal action without leniency by collecting and monitoring evidence for criminal acts."

XGALX's CEO and executive producer, Jacobs, also addressed deepfake crime on social media, saying, "We can never overlook the act of trampling on the dignity of all women who dream of the future, not just XG. I would like to apologize to AlphaZ (ALPHAZ, fandom name), XG, and the artist's family and staff as the person in charge."

Recently, while the number of deepfake crimes that synthesize and distribute women's faces with pornography is increasing, it is spreading to the entertainment industry. As a result, the agencies to which the artists affected are affiliated are taking a hardline response.

Jacobs then said, "As a leader, I will try to speak up even louder," adding, "I am taking the situation seriously right now. We will do our best to solve it," he promised.

"We are discussing with domestic and foreign experts to take strong legal action," he said, hinting at legal action and saying, "We will fight to the end to protect the human rights and honor of artists and executives and employees belonging to XGALX."
