The game has the advantage of being easy for anyone to start.

It's one of the hobbies you can enjoy regardless of whether you have a disability or not.

An e-sports competition was held for students with disabilities.

Reporter Shim Kwan-heum went to the scene.

I look at it even if I swing my arms hard and jump up and down with a bright face.

Four students enthusiastically enjoying volleyball inside a virtual court.

They all have developmental disabilities.

But it doesn't matter in the game.

[Jang Hyun-jun / Taebaek Raon School in Gangwon Province] I felt close. It was fine. As high as the sky.]

A student who can't see, but listens to the explanation and places a stone on the board.

It's a classic board game called 'Othello', which is similar to landfishing.

It is serious to hear the other person explain the location of the point and decide on his or her strategy.

It is the "National Disabled Student e-Festival" involving students who have passed regional preliminary rounds from 17 metropolitan and provincial offices of education nationwide.

Students with disabilities who enjoy games excitedly and passionately.

Parents who cheered with bated breath are proud of their children who did their best regardless of victory or defeat.

[Kim Sung Woon / Parents: It's an honor to be at the festival with a game that my child really likes. I lost the game, but it was an honor to have fun.

A total of 10 games were played this time, and famous domestic and foreign games were adopted.

In particular, Netmarble, which has co-hosted the event since 2009, has posted two games, Everyone's Marvel and Magumagoo.

[Lee Na-young / Director of Netmarble Cultural Foundation: In the case of games, anyone with disabilities can participate easily and enjoy cultural contents together, so we plan to make it an open festival]

Gaming is becoming an inclusive culture that everyone can enjoy together, regardless of whether they have a disability or not.

This event instilled confidence in students with disabilities and provided an important opportunity to communicate with society through games.
