5:23 a.m. local time on the 10th.

At the end of the countdown, the spacecraft Falcon 9 rises into the sky, releasing flames.

Nine and a half minutes later, when the first-stage propellant separated from the spacecraft successfully returned to the launch site, a roar erupted, and three minutes later, the second-stage propellant was successfully separated, and they entered their scheduled orbit.

The four civilian astronauts are inside an igloo-shaped space capsule called a "dragon."

The mission is called Polaris Dawn, which means 'dawn of Polaris'.

It is a spaceflight project led by billionaire and aircraft pilot Jared Isaacman, with a retired Air Force pilot and two female engineers from SpaceX.

The Dragon capsule carrying them plans to fly in an oval orbit up to 1,400 kilometers high, more than three times higher than the ISS' flight orbit.

If successful, it will be recorded as the highest point reached by mankind in half a century since the Apollo program in 1972.

Civilian aviators will stay in space for about five days in capsules, conducting more than 40 studies and experiments.

The most important experiment among them is spacewalking.

Two out of four civilian astronauts will be in space at an altitude of 700 kilometers on the third day of their flight wearing spacesuits dedicated to outside spacecraft activities.

[Jared Isaacman/ 'Polaris Dawn' Cosmonaut: It takes a lot of effort to move in a spacesuit under pressure. What looked like heavy clothing when no pressure was applied becomes very hard when pressure is applied.]

They will walk through space with the spacecraft on a string, and civilian attempts to walk in space are unprecedented in the history of human space exploration.
