The women's national team, led by head coach Park Yoon-jung, will play the World Cup round of 16 against the host country Colombia at Pascual Guerrero Stadium in Colombia at 10 a.m. tomorrow (12th).
South Korea advanced to the round of 16 with one win, one draw and one loss in Group D of this tournament.
It is the first time in 10 years that it has passed the World Cup group stage since advancing to the quarterfinals at the 2014 Canadian Games.
South Korea met its opponent, Colombia, in the third and fourth place match of the 2010 German competition and won 1-0 thanks to Ji So-yeon's preemptive winning shot.
