Gorgeous and beautiful auroras were observed across the northern United States and Canada on the 25th local time.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said auroras could be seen throughout the northern part of the United States, including Washington, Idaho, Montana, Dakota, and Minnesota, and throughout Canada.

The Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration explained that the aurora can be observed more frequently due to increased electromagnetic activity, especially as the sun approaches the peak of the 11-year solar cycle.

The best time to see the aurora is usually within an hour or two before and after midnight, adding that the best time is around the equinox and equinox due to the way solar winds interact with the Earth's magnetosphere.

The Associated Press warned that increased solar activity could cause damage to the Earth, such as radio and communication disruptions and satellite navigation errors.
