Men covering their faces with masks are pulled out of the aircraft one after another.

These are men arrested for committing an investment reading fraud in Bangkok, Thailand.

Eight people a day, including a man in his 30s, were forcibly repatriated to Incheon International Airport.

They are accused of stealing 22 million won from 10 victims by deceiving them as if they would make a profit if they invested in public offering stocks after opening a fake securities trading site.

However, a database containing the personal information of 2.3 million Koreans was also found in these offices.

Police are investigating the source of personal information and whether there are any additional crimes that have abused it.

The police evaluated that by arresting them, they expanded the crime target based on personal information to prevent further damage.

Police, who obtained intelligence from Thailand in July, launched an investigation by sharing the information with local immigration authorities.

Police later sent investigators and law enforcement officers to Thailand and successfully arrested them along with 20 local police officers.

[Lee Jun-hyung / International Cooperation Officer, National Police Agency: We sent a domestic investigation team to Thailand to help investigate victims there. In this case, the Korean-Tae police arrested and repatriated suspects early in the crime through close cooperation..]

Police are charging them with fraud and investigating the exact extent of the damage and the remaining crimes.

The police said they will continue to actively cooperate with overseas investigative agencies as the number of escape criminals is increasing.
