The Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul said an unidentified person called the Hwayang District Office at around 8:30 p.m. last night (September 30) and repeatedly said that they had installed explosives at Children's Grand Park.
Police commandos and firefighters conducted several searches, but no suspected explosions were found, and access to Children's Grand Park resumed at 9 a.m. today, 12 hours later.
A police official said the call number appears to have been fabricated and that it is likely a false report.
