U.S. "Iran Signs of Preparation to Launch Ballistic Missile to Israel"

An attack appears imminent as Iran prepares to launch ballistic missiles targeting Israel, a senior U.S. White House official says.

Foreign media such as Reuters, AP, and CNN reported that White House officials have revealed to the media that they have detected Iran's preparations for an attack.

He also said the U.S. was supporting preparations to defend Israel and warned of serious consequences if Iran attacked Israel.

Earlier, the U.S. decided to send thousands of U.S. troops to the Middle East to curb Iran's response after Israel launched a limited ground war against Hezbollah, a pro-Iranian militant group in Lebanon, on April 30.

Iran has indicated it will respond to Israel after the death of Hezbollah commander Hassan Nasrallah in a recent Israeli attack.
