Iran has officially confirmed that it has attacked Israel with dozens of ballistic missiles.
Iran's Revolutionary Guard says it carried out the attack in retaliation for Hamas leader Haniyeh, Hezbollah leader Nasrallah and senior Revolutionary Guard general Nilforushan, who were killed in the Israeli attack.
Iran's state broadcaster claimed that 80% of the missiles fired hit the target.
Iran has warned that it will face a much stronger response if Israel retaliates for the attack.
