The Joint Chiefs of Staff said balloons could move to the northern part of Gyeonggi Province and the metropolitan area, asking them to be careful about falling loads, and to report the fallen balloons to the military or police without contacting them.
It is the first time in 10 days that North Korea has boosted balloons since the 22nd of last month.
Seoul Metropolitan Government and Gyeonggi-do Provincial Government sent safety texts related to North Korean garbage balloons and explained to them to be careful during outdoor activities.
