On the 12th of last month, the Supreme Court confirmed the original ruling, which sentenced Napla, who is accused of obstructing the execution of hierarchical affairs and violating the Military Service Act, to one year and two months in prison and two years of probation.
Nafla was indicted on charges of attempting to lift the call-up early by manipulating his work records and deceiving him as if his depression worsened after he was deployed as a social service worker at Seocho-gu Office in Seoul in February 2021.
The first trial sentenced Napla to one year in prison, but the appeals court effectively reduced the sentence to one year and two months in prison and two years of probation in consideration of confession and reflection.
