The search for missing persons is in full swing as the damage from Hurricane Hurlin, which hit the southeastern United States, is snowballing.

As of the 1st local time, Hurricane Hurlin has killed more than 150 people and left hundreds missing in six southeastern states, including North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia, the Associated Press reported.

Rescue teams from 19 states are mobilizing search dogs to find the missing.

North Carolina's worst-hit disaster authorities say Hurricane Hurlin shut down more than 20 water facilities in North Carolina alone, leaving millions of homes without power.

He also explained that more than 150,000 households have requested assistance from the Federal Emergency Support Agency, and this number is also growing rapidly.

Hurricane Hurlin caused the worst flooding in 100 years in North Carolina and Georgia, causing the most damage.
