"It's hard to take care of..."Arrested in his 70s for attempted murder of his wife

A man who tried to strangle and kill his sleeping wife was caught by the police.

Suwon Seobu Police Station in Gyeonggi Province arrested a man in his 70s accused of attempted murder.

A is accused of strangling his wife in her 60s to death at her home in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, at around 0:30 a.m. today (2nd).

Immediately after the crime, A reported to the police that he had killed his wife, and he was arrested by the police who were dispatched.

In a police investigation, A reportedly stated that he had been caring for his wife, who has been fighting cancer for more than 10 years, but he committed the crime because it was difficult to endure anymore.

The wife, who was taken to the hospital, is said to be in a critical condition without consciousness.

The police plan to investigate the exact motive of the crime against A and apply for an arrest warrant.
