"There are already two babies that have been released from 'Dol Singles'."

In the meantime, stars have often confessed that they have become 'dolsing' (a single that came back). However, it wasn't that long ago that even non-celebrities came to appear in love entertainment shows to find new love after divorcing.

MBN's "Doll Singles," which tells the love story of divorced men and women, is proving its popularity by continuing its recent season 6 after its debut in 2021. Currently, it has been broadcasted up to three out of a total of eight episodes of Season 6.

At the time of the launch, the reaction was that "the title is unusual." The couple, who joined the camp, live together on the show and meet each other's families and have time to get to know each other deeper. This is a behind-the-scenes story that has not been seen in existing love entertainment shows. During the four years of broadcasting, he gave variations with specials in the U.S. and specials for those born in the 1990s, and many couples appeared. Among them, Nam-gi, Dae-eun, Hee-jin, and Jimi couples have already reported on pregnancy and childbirth beyond remarriage, and two "dolls babies" have already been released.

YTN star met with CP Park Sun-hye and PD Jung Woo-young, the producers of "Dol Singles," at the MBN Media Center in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do, on the 30th of last month to hear about the behind-the-scenes of the program and its future direction.

On this day, CP Park Sun-hye and PD Jung Woo-young agreed with the reporter that the concept of "dolsing" which was relatively quiet came out of the world faster and more confidently through "dolsingles." In particular, in the past, the presence or absence of children of the other party greatly influenced the final decision, but after the male-dominated couple, many performers answered that they could start a new family together even if they had children.

CP Park said, "At the beginning of the season, there were many people who said they couldn't finish after deciding to appear. Some even said they couldn't film the interview, and their families contacted them and protested why they humiliated them. But now, my parents are supporting my children more to go out," he said.

I'm still single, but I have a lot of friends who consult on love. Among them, there is an acquaintance who asks, 'I'm meeting Dolsing, what do you think of this person?' In that case, I also advise you to find out the reason for divorce," he said with a smile.

Producer Jung also said he was single in his 30s, adding, "What the performers have in common is, 'When I got married for the first time, I saw a lot of jobs and assets and stability, but after trying it once, that's not all." Those who said they would check realistic information also wanted to know the other person's feelings after entering the information open room, he said.

He continued, "I edited Daeun's 'Remember Me' before, and I was so moved and jealous of her falling in love. I thought that he found someone who really wanted to cover all the complexes that the other person felt on his own. I naturally felt, "I want to love you, too," because the two of them are living happily now so that I can't remember the wound.

Wouldn't the unmarried production team have changed their thoughts on marriage a little by looking at various cases of divorce? Producer Jung said, "I never thought about marriage seriously in my 20s, but while doing 'Dol Singles', I thought, 'It's not something to think about easily.' "I felt that the end of a relationship was not marriage, but that the feelings of the two were not hurt, and that we had to set good standards to meet for a long time."

Season 5 ended in July earlier, and season 6 came out immediately. In response, PD Chung said, "We were continuing to recruit Korean applicants while doing season 4 in the U.S. at the same time. So there were a lot of performers, and there were so many attractive people that we decided to continue seasons 5 and 6 in a row this time," he said.

Season 6 features Noh Jung-myung, a former girl group member, and Park Chang-hyun, a former announcer. Controversy over whether it was a promotional production could not be avoided. CP Park said, "Actually, they support a lot of broadcasters and influencer. It's not that I'm unaware of this controversy, so when interviewing people with broadcast experience, I check them more meticulously and meticulously. Roh Jung-myung and Park Chang-hyun drew a line at the controversy over authenticity, saying, "They were people who really felt the sincerity and couldn't doubt their passion."

Another love program, "I Am Solo," has been doing a Dolsing special since 2022, all of which overlap with "Dol Singles." In addition, there is a case where Yoo Hyun-chul, a cast member of "Dol Singles 3," and Ok-soon, a 10th member of "I'm Solo," met and remarried this year.

Regarding this, CP Park said, "It's an interesting phenomenon," adding, "It's not bad to talk about 'I'm Solo' like this." In some ways, we can say that it is not fun because we are less stimulating, but we have our own strengths. It's warmer and more sympathetic. I think it's positive," he said.

Producer Jung also said, "I thought that they were conscious of us (from 'I'm Solo') because of the overlapping airing periods," but added, "I feel the influence of the idol singers because they seem to think freely about appearing on the show compared to before."

CP Park said, "The remaining second half of Season 6 will be spicy with a series of twists," adding, "Season 7 could come as early as the second half of next year." At the same time, he also expressed his desire, "I want to fill it by season 10."
