WSJ "Elon Musk Sponsors Largely to Republicans for Years"

Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who publicly supports former President Donald Trump, has been sponsoring large sums of money to Republican organizations since earlier than was known and the scope of support has been much broader, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing unnamed sources.

According to a Wall Street Journal report on the 2nd local time, Musk donated $50 million and 66 billion won in our money on several occasions to a promotional campaign for a group linked to former White House senior adviser Stephen Miller around the fall of last year.

Musk also donated $10 million to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, once considered a rival to former President Trump, last year during the Republican presidential race.

The Wall Street Journal interpreted Musk as being a major source of funding for several organizations and candidates in the Republican Party long before he created a super pack supporting former President Trump this spring.
