The Incheon District Court sentenced three people, including a man in his 20s, to four to six years in prison on charges of special robbery.
The court explained that the victims are likely to have suffered considerable fear from their crimes, and that some considered the fact that they committed the crime without self-reflection even during the period of the crime.
Mr. A's group is accused of pretending to be a runaway female teenager on social media, luring five men, and threatening them by showing tattoos saying they would report it because they tried to have sex with minors.
After taking full-length photos, they detained the victim in a car or lodging facility, stole his or her mobile phone, made him borrow or issue a credit card, and then extorted money and valuables.
