Rumpiskin, a bovine viral disease, occurred in Yangyang, Gangwon-do, following Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do, and recorded two cases a day today (3rd).

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs raised the crisis alert in Yangyang, Sokcho, Hongcheon, Pyeongchang and Gangneung to a serious level and ordered livestock workers and vehicles to temporarily suspend movement.

Earlier, Rumpiskin was also confirmed to be positive in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, raising the crisis warning in neighboring regions such as Hwaseong and Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs said it is concerned about nationwide transmission and asked for the vaccination to be completed by this month.
