North Korean defector group releases rice bottles and K-pop videos from Ganghwa Island

North Korean defectors' groups have released plastic bags containing plastic bottles containing rice, mobile storage devices with K-pop videos, and ramen from Ganghwa Island, Incheon.

Five organizations, including the Free North Korean Broadcasting System and the Alliance for the Reunification of the Korean People, said they sent 1 ton of rice, 800 ramen noodles and 400 dollar bills to the North in plastic bags yesterday evening (3rd).

It is the first time in four months that North Korean defector groups have engaged in joint activities since June, and the release activity has been in response to North Korea's leaflet spraying.
