Park Min-soo, the second vice minister of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, said in a statement at the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters meeting today (4th), "The most important thing is to restore trust and the first step is dialogue."
He then asked the medical community to participate in the ruling and opposition legislative council and the Special Committee on Medical Reform, but not to set preconditions or agendas in advance.
He also added that if the medical community suggests scientific and rational measures, the number of medical schools in 2026 can be discussed.
