The 45th Busan Citizens' Day ceremony was held at the Busan City Hall auditorium.
More than 700 people, including the mayor of Busan, participated in the ceremony, and a reading of the citizen's charter, a proud citizen's award, and a commemorative performance were held.
Seven people, including Hyun Seung-hoon, chairman of Hwaseung, were selected for the Proud Citizen Award.
The Busan Metropolitan Government established October 5, the day of the victory of the Battle of Busanpo in 1592 as Busan Citizens' Day in 1980, which was converted into the solar calendar.
