[Busan] Opening of French artist's creative space 'Villa Busan'

A creative space for Korean and French artists has been set up at the Hongti Art Center in Dadae-dong, Busan.

The Busan Metropolitan Government held a signboard hanging ceremony for "Villa Busan" with Busan Mayor Park Hyung-joon, Mayor David Risna Khan, and French Ambassador to Korea Philip Bertou.

The Busan Metropolitan Government and others also signed a business agreement that the city will support creative spaces, accommodations, and exhibitions, and that the French Embassy will support return tickets and interpretable coordinators to resident artists, and that the city will support the cost of stay.

'Villa Busan' is the first Korean-French artist creative space in Korea that we and France promoted to cooperate in the field of visual arts.
