The story of three people who saved the lives of a fallen person with CPR that they usually learned was belatedly known.

The Jeju Fire and Safety Headquarters said a man in his 20s who collapsed due to cardiac arrest in the parking lot of a wedding hall in Seogwipo on the 28th of last month saved his life by performing CPR on three people around him.

Kim Ji-hee, Yang Ki-hoon from the Jeju Provincial Council Secretariat, and Hwang Si-wook, a wedding hall employee, are the main characters who saved their lives.

At that time, Kim and others reported the fallen man to 119 when he was unconscious and breathing, received medical guidance, and took turns performing CPR to provide first aid until 119 paramedics arrived.

Kim and others kept the golden time of cardiac arrest patients by quickly and accurately performing CPR learned from their usual first aid training.

Thanks to rapid initial CPR and 119 paramedic first aid, the man, who returned consciousness and breathing at the scene, is reportedly recovering health at the hospital.

Kim said he was very rewarded to save his precious life with CPR performed by his own hands.

The Jeju Fire and Safety Headquarters is seeking to select a heart saver for three ordinary people and 119 paramedics who performed CPR.
