In the so-called "lotto subscription" conducted over the past five years, nine out of the top 10 competition rates have applied this year.

According to the data on the competition rate for unranked remaining generations received from the Korea Real Estate Agency by Lee Yeon-hee of the Democratic Party of Korea, a member of the National Assembly's Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee, the No. 1 unranked subscription competition rate supplied from January 2020 to August this year was "Lotte Castle" in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, which was applied in July.

At that time, as many as 2,944,780 people flocked to recruit one household, recording the highest competition rate ever, followed by "Black Stone Xi" in Dongjak-gu, Seoul, which was sold in June last year, ranking second with 829,881 to 1.

In addition, "Sejong Lin Strauss," which was sold in Eojin-dong, Sejong in May, ranked third with 437,995 to 1, and all subscriptions have been made this year except for black stone jai among the top 10 competition rates in the past five years.

This seems to be due to the spread of the perception that it is a "lotto" that can enjoy as much as 1 billion won in market profits if it wins.

In addition, it is analyzed that the overheating of unranked subscriptions this year is also related to the relaxation of subscription qualifications.

In response, Rep. Lee Yeon-hee said that the system needs to be improved to prevent unranked subscriptions from turning into speculative purposes to seek opportunities for "lotto sale" or a quick profit rather than the purpose of buying their own homes.
