North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has threatened to use nuclear weapons at any time in case of emergency, saying he can never give up nuclear weapons.

He criticized the Armed Forces Day anniversary speech along with harsh criticism of President Yoon Suk Yeol, which seems to reflect both internal and external situations, including the U.S. presidential election and North Korea's constitutional amendment.

Wearing a leather jacket, Chairman Kim Jong-un sits on the podium watching the soldiers train and gives instructions to the executives.

North Korea's state-run media reported Kim's remarks in detail, reporting the training of troops such as underwater penetration and parachuting.

At the meeting, Kim strongly criticized the Armed Forces Day commemoration, referring to President Yoon Suk Yeol as a puppet.

In particular, he claimed that he was not a perfect person when he spoke of the overwhelming response of military forces at the gate of a country with nuclear weapons.

He then reiterated his intention to never give up nuclear weapons, threatening to use nuclear weapons against the South at any time in the event of an attempt to infringe on its sovereignty.

[Chosun Central TV] He said that if he tried to pray for the use of force, he would relentlessly use all of his underwater aggression, including nuclear weapons, and that if such a situation came, it would be impossible for Seoul and the Republic of Korea to exist.]

It is the first time in more than two years that Chairman Kim criticized President Yoon, citing his real name, since his so-called Victory Day speech in July 2022.

In his Armed Forces Day speech on the 1st, he responded to President Yoon's message that it would be an end-of-government day if North Korea tried to use nuclear weapons.

A day earlier, Kim Yo-jung, the deputy director of the Workers' Party, also sarcastically said that Hyunmoo-5 first appeared in front of a nuclear power country, aiming at the ceremony of our Armed Forces Day, which is called the "Monster Missile."

Experts say that a series of North Korea's threat messages are not only external to the U.S. presidential election, but also internal to the institutionalization of "two hostile countries" at the Supreme People's Assembly on the 7th.

[Hong Min / Senior Researcher at the Korea Institute of Unification: Rather than the difference in the degree of expression, Kim Jong-un and Kim Yo-jong directly mentioned it and disclosed it to the residents through the Rodong Sinmun, I think this will be a more important point.]

The military said North Korea's claim is nothing new, but said it is analyzing its intentions and possibilities, along with necessary preparations for rhetorical threats.
