AFP said Trump made the remarks during a campaign event in Payetteville, North Carolina, on the 4th local time, recalling President Joe Biden being asked about the possibility of Israel striking Iran's nuclear facilities.
Regarding Biden's remarks against Israel's airstrikes on Iran's nuclear facilities, former President Trump said, "Isn't that something to hit?" and added, "I should have said, 'Let's hit the nuclear first and worry about the rest later."
Earlier, President Biden said Israel has the right to fight back, but opposes attacking Iran's nuclear facilities and that the response should be proportionate.
