Yeouido International Fireworks Festival... "Enough safety management."

The Ministry of Public Administration and Security announced that it will start thorough safety management with related agencies in preparation for the "2024 Seoul World Fireworks Festival" to be held around the Han River Park in Yeouido, Seoul this evening.

For two days yesterday and today, the Ministry of Public Administration and Security jointly inspected all areas of safety management such as situation, human wave, traffic management, and emergency rescue by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, police, and fire fighting agencies.

The risk factors found as a result of the inspection have been supplemented before the start of the festival.

Minister of Public Administration and Security Lee Sang-min also visited the site, presided over the safety measures inspection meeting, and finally inspected the safety management situation on the site.

Minister Lee said, "We hope that visitors will make every effort to manage safety until they enjoy the festival and return home safely, and that the people participating in the festival will actively cooperate in guiding the maintenance of order on the site."
