A Chinese fishing boat that violated our waters and was illegally fishing has been caught by the maritime police.

The Central Coast Guard's Special Security Agency said it is investigating a 300-ton Chinese fishing boat near Socheongdo Island in Ongjin-gun, Incheon, at around 4 a.m. today (5th).

The fishing boat was caught by coast guard officers as it zigzagged and ran away after refusing orders to stop the boat.

Obstacles such as iron pipes and wire mesh were installed on both sides of the hull to prevent coast guard members from easily boarding the ship.

There were a total of 16 Chinese sailors on the fishing boat, and catches, including forsythia, were found on the boat.
