Ruling party "Promoting the National Assembly's ratification process for South Korea-U.S. defense budget agreement"

The People's Power emphasized that the parliamentary ratification process should be carried out quickly in connection with the conclusion of a special agreement on sharing defense costs between South Korea and the United States.

Spokesman Kim Hye-ran said in a commentary that the deal is an important agreement for the continued strengthening of security cooperation and alliances between the two countries.

He added that it is important to consistently comply with the contents of the agreement regardless of the political situation, adding that all diplomatic and legislative processes must be expedited.
