Fair Trade Commission Chairman "We do our best to promote co-prosperity of delivery apps, but the conclusion is not yet"

Han Ki-jung, chairman of the Fair Trade Commission, said he is making his best efforts regarding the win-win consultative body for delivery apps, but has not yet reached a productive conclusion.

"It is best for the parties to come up with a reasonable plan rather than institutional improvement through legislation," Chairman Han said on KBS' program today (6th), referring to the win-win discussion between delivery companies and restaurant companies.

At the same time, he added that if the win-win consultative body does not reach a conclusion, the government will find a way to come forward directly, suggesting active intervention.

The delivery app win-win consultative body has been held five times since it began in July last year, but discussions are expected to take place on the "differential fee" proposed by Baemin amid no progress on major topics including fees.
