Israel strikes at central Gaza mosque...At least 21 people died.

At least 21 people were killed when Israel attacked a mosque in Deir al-Bala, central Gaza, on June 6 local time.

Witnesses said the mosque, which was attacked by airstrikes, was used as a refugee shelter, so the number of casualties could rise further.

The Israeli military confirmed the airstrike, saying Hamas command was found to have been set up at the mosque and carried out a precision strike.

Al Jazeera also reported that Israeli airstrikes continued in northern Gaza, killing at least 11 people.
