The Incheon District Court sentenced 40-year-old A, who was accused of violating the Information and Communication Network Act, to one year in prison and two years of probation, and ordered an additional 23 million won along with community service.
The court explained the reason for the sentencing, saying that the charges were found guilty by looking at various evidence, including the details of the deposit account of the commission, but considering that he did not lead the crime.
Mr. A was put on trial from March to November last year on charges of securing personal information using an application used by prostitution owners, delivering related records to more than 2,000 women, and pocketing 140 million won in request fees.
