President Yoon Suk Yeol, on a tour of Southeast Asia, started his first schedule with a memorial dedicated to the Korean War in the Philippines.President

Yoon said North Korea is likely to make provocations to attract attention from the United States and others, and that the international community will not tolerate them.

President Yoon Suk Yeol, who is on a trip to attend the ASEAN, or the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Summit, has arrived in the Philippines, his first visit with his wife, Kim Gun-hee.

It is the first time in 13 years that our leaders have visited the state since former President Lee Myung Bak in November 2011.Immediately after his arrival, President Yun

visited a monument to commemorate the 110 deaths of troops dispatched to the Philippines during the Korean War, laid flowers and paid silent tribute.

The Philippines is the first blood ally in Asia to send more than 7,400 troops, the largest in Asia, in the Korean War, and continues to cooperate in North Korea and other issues.

{President Yoon sent a warning message in a foreign media interview prior to his trip, strongly criticizing North Korea.President

Yoon predicted that North Korea may continue to make additional provocations such as nuclear tests to attract attention from the United States and others.

In response, he stressed that he will fundamentally neutralize the North Korean nuclear threat through the South Korea-U.S. combined extended deterrence capabilities.

He added that North Korea's continued provocation of filth balloons will also face an intolerable response in the event of a public safety hazard.President Yun

concludes the first day of his visit by attending a dinner meeting with Korean residents, and continues his schedule on the second day of his trip, including the Korea-Philippines summit, the exchange of memorandums of understanding, and a business forum.During his visit to the Philippines, President

Yoon plans to actively engage in sales diplomacy to expand trade and investment, as well as strengthen cooperation in large infrastructure orders and energy and defense sectors.
