U.S. President Joe Biden has ordered the deployment of 500 more military personnel to western North Carolina, which has been devastated by Hurricane Hurlin.

"Following North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper's request for additional support, we have today ordered 500 active-duty troops with advanced technology assets to support our response and recovery efforts," Biden said in a statement released by the White House on 6th local time.

As a result, the number of military troops supporting restoration in areas affected by the collapse has increased to 1,500.

President Biden explained that 6,000 National Guard troops and 7,000 federal agents, as well as military personnel, are currently supporting field activities and that he will provide all support for reconstruction.

In addition, he added that he hopes all residents of Florida will listen to the state's guidance and be prepared for Hurricane Milton, which is now growing in strength as it crosses the Gulf of Mexico.
