A teenage girl who was killed by Park Dae-sung (30, arrested) while walking down the street in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do, reportedly called her friend just before the incident and expressed her anxiety.

On the 4th, SBS's "Curious Story Y" released an interview with B, a friend of the victim's 18-year-old high school girl A. Ms. B said, "I got a call (from Ms. A) at around 12:30 p.m. and said, 'There is a man behind me, I'm scared,' and 'I think I'm going to get hit by a knife,'" adding, "Then all of a sudden, I heard a lot of running (over the phone)."

"When I asked what was going on, Miss A suddenly screamed and asked me to report it," he explained. Ms. B answered the phone at 00:29. Considering that Park Dae-sung wielded a weapon and killed the victim at 0:44, Park Dae-sung followed the victim for more than 10 minutes.

On the day of the incident, Park Dae-sung, who brought a weapon from his restaurant, reportedly encountered someone before A. The taxi driver, who thought of Park Dae-sung wandering the streets as a passenger, stopped the car, and Park had a short conversation, saying, "Just go."

Oh Yoon-sung, a professor of police administration at Soonchunhyang University, said, "If anyone thought they should kill him, they should have selected the taxi driver as the victim, but the fact that they chose the victim after sending him was clearly intended to choose a weak opponent," adding, "He is a cowardly man with strong fear or self-protection when he did not resist in the process of being arrested by police after carrying a weapon (after the murder)."

Citizens who witnessed the incident at the time are also suffering. The witness said, "The words I heard at the end (from the victim) and the words to save me keep coming to my mind, and I am still heartbroken." "It's so painful that I couldn't save him even though I asked him to save me," he said. "Every day, I come and go here (at the scene of the incident) several times." I remember it while working. Park Dae-sung's acquaintances agreed that Park Dae-sung often showed violence. Some people testified that they also committed problems during their military service.
