The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission has appointed Kim Nam-doo as the director of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, which had been vacant for seven months.

Earlier, Kim, a former deputy director of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, was in charge of the job after it became vacant in March, but he was found dead at his home in August, causing controversy in the political world.

In the midst of this, the resignation of Jung Seung-yoon, chairman of the Anti-Corruption Committee, who recently expressed his resignation, has not yet been accepted.
