The Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency said at a regular press conference today (7th) that 146 cases have been posted in southern Gyeonggi Province alone for about a year since the murder rampage at Seohyun Station in August last year.
The police arrested 88 cases, or 60% of them, and are continuing their investigation into 58 cases.
The police explained that if they operate anonymously or write on a site with a server overseas, they will have difficulty identifying the publisher, and that they are investigating using various investigation techniques such as international cooperation.
The statute of limitations for the case of posting a notice of murder is five years.
