A 2.2 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Buk-gu, Ulsan at around 3:09 p.m. today.

The epicenter of the earthquake is 26 kilometers northeast of Ulsan and is 20 kilometers deep.

The Korea Meteorological Administration said a 2.2 magnitude earthquake occurred off the coast near Ulsan, but there did not appear to be any shaking or damage.

Including this earthquake, 65 earthquakes occurred on the Korean Peninsula this year, and four earthquakes with a magnitude of 2.0 or higher occurred in the waters near Ulsan.
