The Korea Swimming Federation held a national swimming team award ceremony and presented Kim Woo-min with a high-end wristwatch along with a reward of 10 million won.
Kim Woo-min, who won the men's 400-meter freestyle bronze medal at the Paris Olympics in July, became the second South Korean athlete to win a medal in swimming in 12 years since Park Tae-hwan in 2012.
Kim Woo-min said he took the Olympic podium with the help of many people, and said he wants to repay him by performing better at the next 2028 LA Olympics.
