The Joint Chiefs of Staff said North Korea flew more than 120 garbage balloons from dawn to morning this morning, and nothing is currently being identified in the air.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff said that more than 80 of these garbage balloons fell in northern Gyeonggi Province and Seoul.

He then added that the contents were household waste such as paper, vinyl, and plastic bottles, and that the analysis showed no safety-hazardous substances.

In addition, North Korea has distributed garbage balloons 25 times so far this year, and said that one balloon contains several bundles of falling objects, so the number of balloons and falling objects is not the same.
