The Israeli military has taken steps to increase its forces in southern Lebanon to strengthen Hezbollah's attacks.

In a statement on the 7th local time, the Israeli military said it had moved the 91st Division under the Northern Command, which had been deployed in Gaza for the past year, to southern Lebanon, where it has been conducting limited and local ground operations.

At the same time, the Israeli military explained that it had strongly attacked Hezbollah targets on the 7th.

It also added that the previous day, it bombed Hezbollah's intelligence headquarters in Beirut, Lebanon's capital, and weapons stores and launchers in the south and Becca Valley with fighter jets.

The Israeli military has claimed Hezbollah has put its residents at risk by hiding its command headquarters and weapons under a residential building in central Beirut.

Lebanon's health ministry said at least 10 firefighters were killed in Israel's airstrikes in the south.

Hezbollah also continued its attacks on Israel.

Dozens of Hezbollah rockets flew into northern Israeli cities including Haifa and Tiberias over the previous night and morning, injuring 10 people, the Jerusalem Post reported.

The Israeli military said two soldiers from the 5515 Special Forces were killed on the Lebanese front.
