The Citizens' Coalition for Economic Justice held a press conference this morning at the Auditorium of the Citizens' Coalition for Economic Justice in Jongno-gu, Seoul, and announced the results of the analysis of the "2022-2023 State Audit."
The Citizens' Coalition for Economic Cooperation and Development said in a 2022 parliamentary audit that only 11 of the 16 parliamentary standing committees adopted the results report, showing a 68.8% adoption rate.
It added that only 19 of the 30 audited organizations selected by the Citizens' Coalition for Economic Justice, including major government ministries and some affiliated organizations, submitted a report on the results of corrective action according to the parliamentary audit.
Last year, only five of the 16 standing committees adopted results reports, with only 31.3% of the adoption rate, and only 12 out of 30 organizations submitted corrective action results reports.
In particular, the number of corrections handled by the government stood at 2,643 in 2022, while the number of corrections fell to 1,333 in 2023, nearly halving, the federation stressed.
