An employee accidentally threw a "crumpled beer can" artwork displayed at a museum in the Netherlands into a trash can and retrieved it.

AFP reported that a mechanic who worked at an art museum in Lise, a small Dutch town, saw two crushed beer cans in an elevator and thought they were trash and took them to the trash bin.

The work was "All the Good Times We Spent Together" by French artist Alexandre Labe, which was found and recovered by the curator in a garbage bag just before it was discarded.

The museum said the work appeared to be a crushed beer can at first glance, but it took a lot of time and effort to paint the outside with acrylic paint, and that it was presented with the intention of exhibiting it in an unexpected place.
