The Korea Football Association has selected Shin Sang-woo, coach of the Gimcheon Sangmu, as the head coach of the women's national soccer team and is preparing to sign a formal contract.
Coach Shin Sang-woo served as the head coach at Boeun Sangmu in 2015 and led the women's soccer team as the coach of Icheon Bridge and Changnyeong WFC.
The women's national soccer team will play a warm-up match against Japan on the 26th.
Earlier, the Korea Football Association ended the contract early with coach Colin Bell, who led the team for four years and eight months through an agreement.
