U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris criticized former President Donald Trump for playing a political game for her own benefit as the people are suffering from hurricane damage.

Speaking on ABC's talk show "The View," Harris called it the height of irresponsibility and callousness when the host pointed out Trump's lie that the Biden administration was withholding disaster aid to Republican neighborhoods.

Vice President Harris pointed out that he has visited typhoon-hit areas such as Georgia and North Carolina and is actually talking about their lives, and that Trump is afraid of his lack of empathy at a very basic level, which cares about the pain of others.

He also responded to other host remarks that he did not understand Trump's supporters, saying that the closer the election, the more people will know what is at stake in this election, including the Capitol riot that Trump instigated.

Harris said people are tired of lies, selfishness and attempts to divide, stressing that the American people are ready to turn the page on history and that she is very optimistic.
