Pottery made of soil and glazed and baked at a high temperature of more than 1,200 degrees is called "Sagi," and the craftsman is called "Sagijang."

An exhibition is being held at the National Jinju Museum to highlight the activities of various scams and fraudulent sites.

Reporter Hajun of SCS Seogyeong Broadcasting reports.

Two broken pottery with the names of artisans.

All of them are 'frauds' baked at a high temperature of more than 1,200 degrees, made around the 15th century.

Sagi is a ceramic with both beauty and practicality.

Therefore, regardless of their status, the ancestors widely used utensils, stationery, and jegi.

In particular, the Gyeongsang-do area was rich in white soil, the main material, so the production of "fraud" was active.

In addition, ceramics are transported by land rather than by sea, so there are quite a few related records.

[Choi Yu-mi / National Jinju Museum of Art Research: Sejong Silokjiji, Gyeongsang-doji, and Gyeongsang-do Chanchanji, so there is a lot of research on this area. Therefore, the Gyeongsang-do area is rich in literature and real ceramic data, so it can be seen as a little special because a lot of research has been conducted.]

On the 40th anniversary of its opening, the National Jinju Museum has prepared a special exhibition titled "Fraud Field, Making Soil to Benefit Life."

The exhibition will cover various frauds excavated from Gyeongsang Province, as well as the life and activities of the fraudulent site that have not received attention.

You can find interesting records that fraudsters have offered bowls instead of taxes, or that they've been on the line for generations.

In addition, you can enjoy works that were difficult to find in the region, such as Danseonghyeon Family Register, a tangible cultural heritage in Gyeongsangnam-do, and donated works by the late chairman Lee Kun-hee.

[Jang Yong-joon / Director of the National Jinju Museum: There are many exhibitions related to ceramics. It can be said that there were few exhibitions that focused on the lives of fraudulent vessels and fraudulent sites. In that sense, this exhibition is of great significance in examining the lives and sorrows of fraudulent craftsmen.]

{사기}The special exhibition to make soil and help life will be held for free until February 23 next year.
