"Why do we need 2,000 more people?"tomorrow's presidential debate

Government officials, medical school professors, and social organizations gather to hold discussions on medical reform.

The President's Office announced that tomorrow (10th) afternoon the discussion will be held at the Seoul National University Medical College Convergence Hall in Yeongeon-dong, Seoul under the theme of "Medical Reform, Where Are We Going?"

The discussion will discuss ways to build a sustainable medical system, why the increase of 2,000 people is needed, and ways to normalize medical school education.

In addition, discussions will continue on how to establish a patient-centered medical system and the procedural justification of the medical policy-making process.

The meeting will be attended by Jang Sang-yoon, senior presidential secretary for social affairs, Chung Kyung-sil, head of the medical reform promotion team at the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Kang Hee-kyung and Ha Eun-jin, professors at Seoul Medical University, and Yoo Mi-hwa, head of the Green Consumer Alliance.
