Yoon will attend the ASEAN-Korea Summit today, and plans to upgrade the 'strategic partnership' signed with ASEAN in 2010 to the 'comprehensive strategic partnership' for the first time in 14 years. He will also attend the ASEAN-Korea-China-Japan summit.
It also holds bilateral talks with Vietnam, Thailand and Laos, and in particular, the possibility of the first Korea-Japan summit since Japan's Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba's inauguration is open.
Tomorrow marks the end of the five-night, six-day tour of three Southeast Asian countries after the East Asia Summit.
