The U.S. White House says it is seriously concerning if the allegation that former President Donald Trump has spoken to Russian President Putin several times even after leaving office is true.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said at a briefing on the 9th local time that it was about U.S. national security.

He also explained that he was concerned because he knows that last year, former President Trump was lobbying against a budget proposal to support Ukraine so that it could defend against Russian aggression.

Earlier in the new book "War," U.S. journalist Bob Woodward claimed that he had spoken to Putin several times even after Trump left the White House in 2021.

In the meantime, in response to Bob Woodward's claim that former President Trump secretly sent a personal tester to Putin during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Russian Kremlin said there was no secret quarantine supplies.
